Quick Start

1. Grant Permissions

On first launch, grant microphone and system audio access when prompted. On macOS: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.

2. Configure Transcription

Go to Settings > Transcription and choose:

• Local: Select a Whisper model (downloads automatically on first use)
• Cloud: Enter your API key for Deepgram, AssemblyAI, or OpenAI

3. Set Up AI

Go to Settings > Intelligence and choose:

• Local: Install LM Studio or Ollama, start the server
• Cloud: Enter your API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google

4. Record Your First Meeting

1. Create a new note (Cmd+N)
2. Click the microphone button or press Cmd+Shift+R to start recording
3. Jot down key points during the meeting
4. Click stop when done

5. Generate Summary

Click "Enhance" to generate an AI summary from your notes and transcript.
